PBA Bowlers Visit Puerto Rico

April 1st and 2nd, 2000

For two days we had the great experience of having the visit of PBA's Parker Bohn III, Jason Couch, Chris Barnes and Doug Kent at Fort Buchanan Bowling Center, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

It was an unprecedent opportunity to match our skills with the pro's and play side by side with these great PBA Bowlers. We had a wonderful time, we had fun, laughed together and must important of all I think, we had the opportunity of real bowl-talk we these great players. Get firsthand tips and advise, take a real close look at their skills and enjoy some wonderful trick shots. Thanks to Tony Veney who was responsible for the 1998 Japan PRO-AM Tournament and for this year visit to Fort Buchanan.

Other people responsible for this year visit: Fort Buchanan Commander, and The Commanding Officer of the Army South Command for their support and sponsorship to this project ; Mr. Luis Torres, Buchanan Bowl Center Manager and Sgt. Charles "Bo" Simmons for all of his cooperation to this event.
