
PRMEC was organized by its principals in 1972, to practice in the fields of preparation of feasibility studies, economic and financial analysis, market and demand analysis, economic planning, social planning, project and program evaluation and transportation planning. The firm has been operating since 1972 and has provided counseling services to a large number of government institutions and private firms.
PRMEC has conducted more than 600 studies in such functional areas as planning of mass transportation system, including financing of system. PRMEC has assisted the Metropolitan Bus Authority in seeking funds under the UMTA legislation, including the funds for capital projects and for operating purposes.
PRMEC has conducted a number of studies for Puerto Rico Planning Board in the fields of Federal funds, problems of employment and unemployment, organization of Southwest plan and the necessary organizational plan and its implementation.
